“Edited to respond because their reply below specifically demonstrates the issue- we did not ask to DISCUSS anything. We wanted to PROVIDE information in a secure way- which they would not allow, did not have processes to support, and clearly STILL do not understand. So sad given the high need for qualified help. I hope HHS can educate them. Note, the other surfaced issues regarding poor clinical judgment and inaccurate information were completely ignored. Original review: I am a licensed medical provider and I know HIPAA law well. This practice is unethical on multiple levels. When I first called, their intake person Emily told me they had many options for helping people in recovery. My son is 19 years old and was actively detoxing in my home. He had a short meeting with Dr. Himes who prescribed Suboxone, said 'see you in a month,' and that was it. No follow-up plan. No additional support. No referrals. A 19-year-old in active detox from fentanyl, and the entire clinical response was one prescription and a 30-day follow-up. That is negligent. When he later entered an acute psychiatric crisis, I attempted to inform his provider through every channel available. Phone calls were blocked by their office manager Rose, who told me HIPAA prevents them from listening to a family member's concerns- which is a dangerous misapplication of federal law. HHS explicitly states that family members may provide information to providers at any time. I cited this directly and received a copy-paste response directing me to call 911 instead of actually addressing what I said. His prescribing physician at this practice has never examined him in person. He has been prescribed three CNS depressants via telehealth without a single physical evaluation. Their 'secure' general inbox was accessed and responded to by multiple staff members, raising serious questions about their compliance with HIPAA access controls. No direct email or secure voicemail exists for reaching a provider. I have filed a formal complaint with the HHS Office for Civil Rights regarding the HIPAA violations at this practice. I truly hope they are held responsible and pulled into compliance through required retraining. If you are a patient here and your family ever needs to reach your doctor in a crisis, they will not be able to. If you are seeking real support for recovery, look elsewhere. This practice will sell you on services they do not provide and then hide behind laws they do not understand when your family tries to help save your life.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Robbie Bahl and the entire team at his clinic. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Bahl takes the time to really listen and understand what you’re going through, which is rare and incredibly refreshing. He explains things clearly, never rushes appointments, and makes you feel like your well-being truly matters. The staff is professional, kind, and efficient, and the environment is calm and supportive. It’s obvious that this practice is built around compassion and patient-centered care. If you’re looking for a mental health provider who is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and deeply committed to helping people feel better, I highly recommend Dr. Bahl and his clinic. It’s made a meaningful difference for me and I’m very grateful for the care I’ve received.”

“I had an excellent experience working with the doctor, the staff and my TMS technician (especially Rose). All were professional, empathetic, and exceptionally skilled. Would highly recommend them for TMS treatment.”

“Working with the team at Shanti, I went from chemical misadventure as a mentally ill bipolar, dyslexic, ADHD creative to finding baseline, peace, and personal responsibility. They helped me whenever I needed someone to speak to. We all suffer. There is help here if you need it.”
